On 13–14 March 2025, INSPIRING ERA participated in the FORTRAMA Annual Conference – Germany’s leading national event for research and transfer management – held at OTH Regensburg (Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg). With over 300 participants from across the German research landscape, the conference brought together professionals working in support structures for research and innovation to exchange on current trends and challenges in the field.
INSPIRING ERA joined the FORTRAMA conference to engage with national research managers and highlight how connecting with the ERA and its Policy Agenda – notably ERA Action 17 – can support the ongoing professionalisation of research management. The project aimed to raise awareness of the ERA, promote exchange on shared challenges, and strengthen mutual learning across national and European levels. INSPIRING ERA was present with an exhibition stand and contributed a presentation to the session “News from the RM Roadmap Project”, organised by representatives of Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf and Plan Wissenschaft.
